1. Who we are

Page Tailors is a trading name of Book A Tradesman FZC, a free zone company licensed by the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority, licence number 4415903.01, with its address at Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). In these terms "you" means the business that signs up with us. Contact: [email protected].

We sell to businesses, not to consumers. By signing up you confirm you are acting for a business.

2. What we sell

• Free website check: a written report on your current website. It is free and you are under no obligation.
• Website and monthly plan: we build your website at no charge and set up your Google Business Profile with you. The first two months are free. After that the plan costs £99 a month and covers hosting, security, backups, changes, new photos and a monthly report.
• Larger projects: online shops, booking systems and sites with many locations are priced in a written quote.

3. Signing up and the free months

You sign up through a secure payment link from our payment provider, Stripe, and enter a card. Nothing is charged during your two free months. We remind you by email or WhatsApp at least 7 days before the first payment. If you cancel before the free months end, you pay nothing at all.

4. Our no-enquiry promise

If your website has not brought you a single enquiry by the end of your free months, your plan stays free, month by month, until the first enquiry arrives. An enquiry is a genuine enquiry from a potential customer that comes through your website or the Google profile we set up: a call from a call button, a WhatsApp message from a WhatsApp button, or a form sent from the site. Spam, sales calls and job seekers do not count. Every enquiry is recorded and listed in your monthly report, so you can see each one.

5. The monthly plan

After the free months the plan costs £99 a month, paid in advance by card through Stripe on the same date each month. It continues month to month until you cancel, with no minimum term. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies. If a payment is more than 14 days late we may take the site offline until it is paid.

6. Larger projects

Larger projects are priced in a written quote that says what is included, the price and the payment stages. A quote is valid for 30 days. Unless the quote says otherwise, 50% is paid when you accept it and 50% before the work goes live. Work outside a quote is only done after you agree a price in writing, which includes WhatsApp or email.

7. Prices and taxes

Prices are in pounds sterling. You pay any bank or currency conversion charges that apply to you. If a sales tax such as VAT must be charged, it will be shown on your invoice before you pay.

8. What we need from you

Approval of your website, and the text, photos and details we ask for. You confirm you own or have permission to use anything you send us.

9. Ownership

Your business name, logo, the words you give us and your photos are always yours. The website design, code and the web address (domain) we provide stay ours while you are on the plan, and you have the right to use them. Once you have made 12 monthly payments, we will on request transfer the domain to you and give you a copy of the website files, at no charge. If the domain is one your business used before, it is yours: we hold it for you and transfer it to you on request at any time, at no charge. Third-party items such as fonts stay under their owners' terms.

10. Domains and hosting

We register and pay for the domain and the hosting while you are on the plan. If the plan ends before 12 monthly payments, the site stays online for 14 days and then goes offline, we send you your words and photos, and we will not use the domain for any other business.

11. Our work

We do the work with reasonable care and skill and fix anything we built that does not work as agreed, at no cost. We do not promise any particular search ranking, number of enquiries or sales, because those depend on things outside our control. Our promise in section 4 is about the price you pay, not about results.

12. Liability

We are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue or data, or for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud.

13. Cancelling and refunds

See our refunds and cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time (see the refunds policy). Either of us may end the agreement if the other seriously breaks these terms and does not put it right within 14 days of being asked in writing.

15. Privacy

How we handle personal details is set out in our privacy policy.

16. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, because our clients are UK businesses.
